Kirsten Dietz is Cannes jury member

The coveted seats on the international Cannes Festival jury panel have now been allocated and festival organizers have appointed Strichpunkt CEO Kirsten Dietz to the Design jury. With a total of 12 representatives, Germany once again leads the international jury in terms of numbers.

The 12 nominees from the German advertising industry have the honor of deciding who in each of the 13 categories will be awarded the famous Lion trophies at the world's most important international creative festival in Cannes.

»Once again, we are represented by very experienced and highly respected creative leaders, media innovators, designers and PR experts in Cannes this year. They all have a large amount of jury experience as they have already sat on other national and international jury panels. But the Cannes Lions will certainly become a highlight,« said festival representative Florian Weischer.

Other German jury members this year are: Jens Schmidt (Moccu) for the Cyber category, Kirsten Dietz (Strichpunkt) for Design, Myles Lord (Heimat) for Direct, Matthias Spaetgens (Scholz & Friends) for Film, Volker Helm (Initiative Media) for Media, Patricia Pätzold (Kempertrautmann) for Outdoor, Burkhart von Scheven (Saatchi & Saatchi) for Press, Timm Weber (Grabarz & Partner) for Promo & Activation, Karl-Heinz Heuser (Burson-Marsteller) for PR, Fabian Frese (Jung von Matt) for Radio and, finally, the creative leader of Jung-von-Matt, Armin Jochum, for the Titanium & Integrated category.

The Cannes International Festival of Creativity will take place for the 58th time from 19 to 25 June.

Before and during the Festival, young creative people in particular can read the impressions of the jurors and other Cannes attendees and follow the events on Facebook.
