Strichpunkt takes off:
office in Berlin-Mitte
Good news for good design in the North: Strichpunkt is opening a local office in the Hackescher Markt, Berlin on 1 October.
The new office located in the creative heart of Berlin is led by Beate Flamm, who until now as Head of Customer Service was in charge of the Reporting department. She is assisted in the creative leadership by Tobias Nusser, who has also worked for Strichpunkt in Stuttgart for four years. From the Berlin office too, Strichpunkt will offer outstanding corporate design and reporting, primarily to companies and institutions and cultural event organisers in the north German and Anglo-Saxon markets. Their launch customers include AirBerlin and Beiersdorf.
The expansion is no coincidence: like no other agency, Strichpunkt has been at the absolute cutting edge of the international creative scene for 10 years and was the only German agency to receive the Corporate Design Award in gold and eleven red dot awards in July. As recently as February, the agency HunterLebron in Diessen near Munich was taken over. For the current financial year, Strichpunkt CEO Jochen Rädeker projects an increase in fee revenue in excess of 60% on the year before. In addition to the intensified cooperation with existing customers, it is the contributions from new customers such as Merck, the Art Museum in Bochum or the Baden-Wuerttemberg Foundation that have helped achieve this excellent result.
Strichpunkt-co-owner Kirsten Dietz, the German representative on the Cannes 2011 design jury: »We look forward to the creative impulses from Berlin. With the new site, we have strengthened Strichpunkt as an attractive employer - for the 40 colleagues in Stuttgart and at Ammersee as well as for the new team in Berlin. The offices will work closely together - this strengthens all the locations and promotes creative exchange and output.«
