THE TASK
Draft, design and print the annual report for Beiersdorf AG.

THE CHALLENGE
In the last year the strategic direction of the Beiersdorf Group has changed radically. The new business strategy Focus on Skin Care – Closer to Markets concentrates on Beiersdorf’s main business: skin care. As a growth-orientated company, Beiersdorf also wants to respond more strongly to regional specialties and continue to develop the product portfolio with brand-specific innovations thus increasing the proximity to the consumer and the proximity to the market.

THE SOLUTION
The annual report 2010 increases the profile of the Beiersdorf corporate brand. The topics of the photo gallery are growth markets, the consumer and their individual requirements. Six striking portraits bring to life the differences between consumers and their expectations of ideal skin care. Short pages in between the portraits point to the specialties of each particular market. Finally members of staff give the reader an insight into their area of work and show how and where the basis for the sustainable success of Beiersdorf is created. The title of the report refers to the 100th anniversary of the NIVEA brand.
