To create the print media for the Mercedes-Benz exhibition stand at the IAA in 2003.
THE CHALLENGE
To position Mercedes-Benz as a technology leader – in a very comprehensible manner.
THE SOLUTION
DaimlerChrysler AG entrusted Strichpunkt with the development of an equally extensive and high-quality medium for communicating the technological leadership asserted by Mercedes-Benz – depicted using eight complex new developments. Strichpunkt presented the high-tech features in a correspondingly premium environment with the aid of a box of matches – after all, ingenious ideas are simple and therefore easy to explain. Sparkling ideas put in a nutshell in an emotional manner: international brand communication in “Welthölzer” matchbox design. Ignition!
