THE TASK
To redevelop and design a four-year reporting concept in print and online as well as associated information media

THE CHALLENGE
Communicating the Shape 2012 efficiency and appreciation programme started in 2009 to shareholders, investors, analysts and employees. Positioning the globally active trading corporation as an attractive, long-term investment in the DAX and depicting the wide range of services offered by the METRO GROUP and its sales lines.

THE SOLUTION
The four-year concept takes readers on a trip to the customers, employees and suppliers of the METRO GROUP. And it shows how the company is becoming even more customer-oriented and profitable thanks to Shape 2012. A newly-designed online report rounds off the printed report offering users individual analysis and download options as well as a lively image section with media-specific features. The 2009 Management Report and magazine insert combine comprehensive, transparent reporting with brand-forming image communication and use a small Roman trattoria to show the effects of Shape 2012 inside and outside the company all over the world. The printed report also features original brochure pages of the individual companies in the corporation – after all, they are the basis of the company's success.
