Packaging
THE TASK
Design and implementation of a global packaging system for Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG.
THE CHALLENGE
To create a graphically challenging, stringent and production-optimized packaging system for the 100,000+ products in the Würth product line.
THE SOLUTION
Strichpunkt introduced a new corporate design, and simultaneously designed and optimized the underlying basis for product presentation, such as the product packaging, labels and inlays. Highly complex logistical, multilingual and international statutory labeling requirements were taken into account when designing the new packaging, labels, etc., which for many products also resulted in improved handling.
The result is a modularly structured, highly efficient packaging system. Strichpunkt is now gradually converting the Würth packaging to this system.
The Würth Group is the world's leading seller of assembly and fixing materials. It employs 58,000 people and has an annual turnover of €7.5 billion. Oliver Dorn (Head of Marketing/Advertising/Sales Promotion) at Adolf Würth GmbH & Co KG says: »We're delighted to have created the basis for the brand-focused and structured presentation of the entire Würth product portfolio with Strichpunkt, and to have in the Stuttgart-based agency a competent and efficient partner to help us in our work.«
