Integrated reporting concept for Solarworld sets new standard
Strichpunkt has created an integrated concept for stakeholder communication at Solarworld AG which is quoted on the TEcDAX, thereby setting new benchmarks in online reporting. From formulation of the Investible Idea through development of the Group slogan “Sun at work” to implementation of the extensive financial and sustainability report in both print and online form, the Bonn-based company headed by CEO Frank Asbeck continually relied on close co-operation with Strichpunkt.
260 pages thick, the 2008 Group Report outlines in detail activities pursued by Solarworld in China, Germany, the Vatican, South Africa, Spain and the USA. Apart from presentation of the financial figures, reporting on sustainability achieves the maximum A+ rating by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). For the first time, the sustainability figures concerning the “Deutsche Vereinigung für Finanzanalyse und Asset Management” (DVFA) were also included in the report.
Featuring in-depth information and a unique extent of interlinking between the image and fact sections, the online report for Solarworld entirely revised by Strichpunkt sets a new standard on the market. Unlike conventional online reports which are generated by special technically-oriented service-providers on the basis of the finished print version, Strichpunkt worked on the print and online version concepts in parallel from the very start. By combining content expertise in the sustainability and financial report with technical know-how, the Solarworld Report distinguishes itself significantly from other systems commonly available on the market. What’s more, the Report is also convincing in terms of its intuitive navigation and clear structuring of the complex Web site.
