JOCHEN RÄDEKER IS NEW
ADC BOARD SPOKESMAN

Jochen Rädeker, managing partner at Strichpunkt, was elected Board Spokesman for the Art Directors Club (ADC) in Hamburg last Saturday.

Rädeker (aged 42), co-established Strichpunkt with Kirsten Dietz in 1996, has been a member of the ADC since 2003 and a member of the Board of the Club representing leading creative minds in Germany since 2004. He succeeds Amir Kassaei. Other predecessors of the Club established in 1964 include Willy Fleckhaus, Reinhart Wolf and Sebastian Turner. ADC membership is only possible to those who have worked creatively at international level for at least five years. Potential members also need to be recommended by Club members and are nominated following a personal introduction.

Rädeker will open the Club for communication disciplines such as design, communication in space, digital media and editorials; the general meeting voted for his proposed modification of the Club structure and ADC competition which is by far the largest creative contest in the German-language region.
