Superlative creativity – first red dot design agency of the year

Award presented for the AirBerlin 2007 Management Report

Lateral thinking, pursuing new paths and setting trends in the process: Strichpunkt writes design history – as the first ever “red dot: design agency of the year”. Since first participating in the red dot design award in 2001, Strichpunkt has been one of the most award-winning creative agencies in the world and has evolved to become the most successful agency in the contest. “With its forward-looking work, the Strichpunkt agency has been setting international standards for years in the area of modern communication design”, claims Professor Dr. Peter Zec, Director of the Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen.

In the presence of around 1000 guests, the “Stylus” was presented to the Strichpunkt team within the framework of the award ceremony on 3 December in the Gala Hall of the Casino Zollverein at the Zollverein world heritage site in Essen. The laudatory speech was given by Prof. Thomas Rempen. Under the title of “High Voltage Design”, Strichpunkt documents and presents an interactive cross-section of a 12-year success story in a special exhibition which can be seen from 4 December 2008 to 4 January 2009 in the red dot design museum in Essen.

Apart from the award as red dot design agency of the year, Strichpunkt was also able to accept the red dot GrandPrix for its AirBerlin Management Report.
