How does barrier-free work?

“Barrier-free” is a term that will be used more frequently in agencies, marketing departments and companies over the next few months. This is because the Accessibility Reinforcement Act will come into force in mid-2025, obliging companies to make their websites and stores more accessible.

It sounds like work at first (and it is), but in reality it offers a huge opportunity. Because barrier-free means that, ideally, everyone can use, take advantage of and buy a brand's offerings - if you do it right. In this episode, we talk to experience designer Tobias Roppelt about the right how, where and when. Tobias trains and supports creatives and companies who are switching their touchpoints to barrier-free. If you want to know how accessibility works and what barriers need to be considered: listen in here!

For all those who want to experience accessibility using concrete examples and discuss it with experts like Tobias, we recommend our online session on February 19. At 4 p.m., we will go into more detail about the idea and implementation of accessibility. Together with our customer BVG, we will show you how it works. The online session is open to everyone.
