For the eighth time, Baden-Württemberg is the only German state to send a delegation to the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. The ten BW Lions represent the fields of advertising, design, digital and live communication, PR, marketing, sound design and film production. This year we are one of these "Lions" and send Tanja Freudenthaler (Senior Art Director) to Southern France!

From 16 to 22 June 2019, she and the delegation will attend the world's largest meeting of the creative industry to learn about the latest trends, make international contacts and represent Baden-Württemberg's creative industry.

Your personal goal in Cannes?

"Definitely the topic of user centricity - because that is becoming more and more important. And I'm interested in how companies implement this, not just to attract media attention, but by bringing the substance of the brand to life.

Under the motto "Colors of Cannes", the delegates not only want to represent the colors of Baden-Württemberg on site, but also give the creative people and companies in the state exciting insights into the festival week. Each delegate also represents his own colour - Tanja has the colour white. Personal highlight of the week: the 120-minute party on Cannes beach on 21 June. In addition, reports are planned which will give a full insight into the festival's learnings. We are looking forward to it!
