Strichpunkt wins communications account and expands location in Hamburg

In a pitch with multiple stages, the design and branding agency prevailed over its competitors and will be providing creative services for the Hamburger Hochbahn AG (HOCHBAHN) brand in the future. With this new client win, Strichpunkt is expanding its office in the Hanseatic city.

In addition to Deutsche Bahn and Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), the design and branding agency Strichpunkt has gained another strong public transport brand for its client portfolio: HOCHBAHN: In future, Strichpunkt will be responsible for the creative communication measures for the transport company as well as for its sub-brands such as hvv switch and other mobility initiatives of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. These include corporate design, trade fair appearances and campaigns. The collaboration is designed for the long term.

HOCHBAHN had invited to a pitch process in several stages, the final phase of which included a collaborative ideation workshop - a bold and forward-looking step on the part of the client. In addition to Strichpunkt, the Viennese agency Tilda also won the pitch and will also become a new member of the agency pool.

As a result of winning the pitch, Strichpunkt is expanding its agency location in Hamburg in order to expand the team in a targeted manner and increase its attractiveness on the local talent market. As Studio Lead, Peter Matz manages the Strichpunkt locations in Berlin and Hamburg together with Phillip Kortlang and Antje Grieshaber. Strichpunkt shares the facilities of the MYTY Market in the St. Pauli district with the agency Shape. Shape and Strichpunkt both belong to the MYTY agency group.
