Strichpunkt and Lightshape to develop a native platform for virtual events and trade fairs

As part of a community crowdsourcing event on November 5th, 2020 the platform will be presented to interested partners and investors

The branding agency Strichpunkt and the augmented & virtual reality specialist Lightshape are jointly developing a native platform for virtual events and trade fairs.

The BXH platform will illuminate how trade fairs and events in virtual space based on game design and virtual reality can offer visitors completely new experiences.

The concept will premiere on on November 5th, 2020 and will be presented to the public for the first time as part of a live-streamed event. Interested partners in the field of strategy, concept, content and technology have the opportunity to actively participate in the project via a community crowdsourcing process.

The heart of the BXH platform is an open system architecture which serves as a foundation to integrate further partners. Daniel Classen, CEO of Lightshape: “It doesn’t make sense to keep developing an innovation of this magnitude secretly for years on end. We need to build an innovative and efficient network in order to reach the next development stage of the BXH platform at high speed."

“The corona crisis, an impending recession and increasing social awareness of climate change are the best prerequisites for finally merging mature technologies into new solutions. “We are at the very beginning of profound transformative developments ”, Dr. Andy Stiegler, Creative Technologist at Strichpunkt points out. “It's not about digitizing a physical event with all its hurdles. It's about taking the visitor experience to the next level by using methods and technologies from game design and augmented & virtual reality. We believe that the BXH platform can offer trade fair operators, exhibitors and visitors completely new opportunities – if they are open to fundamentally challenging their existing business models."
