PAGE, the most widely distributed German-language design and publishing magazine, annually honors the 49 most creative advertising and design agencies in Germany. The list of twelve awards, which were awarded in 2017 forms the basis of the ranking. Only top-class competitions such as the Red Dot Award, the iF communication Design Award, the Communication Design competition of the Type Directors Club New York or the ADC competition are considered.
