For 45 years, the Berufsverband Freie Fotografen und Filmgestalter BFF (German Association of Freelance Photographers) has been the brand name for professional photography and, with its 450 members, is among the most renowned associations of photographers in Europe.

The BFF 2009 Yearbook, the year of the Association's 40th anniversary, and the 2010 edition were created by Strichpunkt. The authenticity of the book’s high-quality design, with its clear colour concept and distinctive elements, is additionally enhanced by its extraordinary slipcase. In 2009, the packaging was presented as a camera obscura with a small hole on one side and transparent paper on the other.

In 2010, the concept developed by Strichpunkt continued with a high-quality camera optics design: the most important book in the field of professional photography has the look and feel of a classic rangefinder camera.
